Hello parents & students,

In conjunction with the state government and their recent announcement that all Pennsylvania schools will be closed for the next two weeks to slow the spread of and to monitor COVID-19, we will be CLOSING for all in-studio music lessons, group classes, and tutoring sessions from Monday, March 16th through Saturday, March 28th.

To ensure that each student is able to continue their musical education without interruption, we have established a system through which all of our teachers can continue lessons during this closure period. All of our teachers will be teaching lessons online through Zoom video conferencing for the next two weeks, and your lesson schedule will remain exactly as it is. Each teacher will be logged on during their usual teaching days and times to teach video lessons, and logging on for parents and students is FREE & EASY.

Each lesson day, you will receive an email with a link that will connect you to your teacher. Please click on the link a few minutes before your lesson is scheduled to begin to log in – this can be accessed with any smart phone, tablet, or computer. Our teachers will already be online waiting for you to begin! Music and resources can be emailed to you as needed by your teacher. Our office will also stay open during the entire closure to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

Students will be stuck at home and going stir crazy, so keeping regular lessons on the calendar is a great way to keep them engaged! With the growing number of school offering online education during closure such as this, we anticipate that online lessons should feel like a natural extension.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Information about the potential postponement or rescheduling of recital schedules will come later – for now, we are taking this one week at a time. This is a brand new situation for all of us, but we are committed to our students above all else and hope for a comfortable transition. Thank you as always for your continued support as we strive to provide the best possible experience for our students!

Mr. John & Miss Nadine
