MR. JOHN’S
MIDDLE SCHOOL JAM BAND

Mr. John has directed all kinds of groups over the past decade, but nothing quite like Jam Band, back again this spring! Open to middle schoolers who play ANY INSTRUMENT, this class will follow in the steps of eclectic groups like Dave Matthews Band and Chicago to create a sound all their own. Our setlist will cover hit songs from the 1960s to the 2020s, with each player having the opportunity to both stand out and support the group. In a band, each player is responsible to carry their own part from song to song, adding up to a greater whole where every role is equally important. Our semester of collaboration will culminate in a concert for friends and family, so register below and get ready to ROCK!

Middle School Jam Band, directed by Mr. John, meets Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm and is open to 5th – 8th grade students with at least one year of playing experience. Rehearsals are scheduled each Monday from September 29th (no rehearsal on November 24th) all the way up to our Winter Concert on December 8th. Regular tuition for the ten-week semester is $350 and is due by the first rehearsal – sign up by September 1st to SAVE 20%, bringing your total to just $280!
