ANNE KRAFT – ART CLASSES

From a long line of painters, Anne received early training from her mother who was an art teacher in Vermont. Anne won a National Scholarship and studied Art as well as Art History at Smith College, obtaining her B.A. in 1987. Anne worked professionally in notable Soho, NYC Art Galleries from 1987 to 1990 while attending the Art Students’ League under Anita Steckel from 1987 – 1995 (drawing and painting) with artwork represented in Philadelphia and Vermont galleries. Anne won a Developmental Scholarship for New York University having attended from 1990 – 1995 and graduated with a Masters plus 30/ M.Phil., Art and Cultural History.  After passing the NJ PRAXIS Art Educators Test, Anne taught K – 8th grade fine art at the Assumption School in Pomona, New Jersey as well as pre-K and later 6th grade at Mater Christi School in Winoosi, Vermont. as teachers aid while placing her own fine art originals, primarily large-scale acrylics,  in several large American collectors’ homes.
