Miss Becca Rock is from Manassas, Virginia. She spent her high school years studying vocal performance at Charles J. Colgan High School in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts. This is where her passion for teaching began; under the direction of Dr. Mckenna Stenson, Becca became well versed in the arts of choral music, classical voice, musical theater, and piano. Miss Becca is now in attendance at West Chester University’s Wells School of Music for Music Education as well as Vocal Performance, studying under the direction of Dr. Inyoung Lee. As a Mezzo-Soprano, Becca is currently singing in Concert Choir, Mastersingers, Chamber Choir, and Recital Choir directed by Dr. Ryan Kelly and Dr. David P. Deveny. Outside of school, Becca was awarded the opportunity to sing at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music. There she performed a full choral set and two arias within the two-week intensive program. Most recently, Miss Becca earned 3rd place in the National Association for Teachers of Singing competition at Temple University and won WCU’S Friday Freshman Scholarship for Vocal Performance. She is currently working on pieces sung in Italian, Latin, English, and German for several upcoming performances. Outside of her studies, Miss Becca enjoys playing the guitar, baking, practicing yoga, and thrifting.

Miss Becca is incredibly excited to teach at Valotta Studios and cannot wait to share her love of music with the next generation of musicians!
