CARLOS MARTINEZ – CELLO

Carlos Martinez is a graduate student at West Chester University pursuing a Master’s degree in Cello Performance. He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance in 2020 from Stephen F. Austin State University. Carlos has had the tremendous opportunity of performing throughout the U.S and internationally in China, Mexico, Brazil, and more. He has received instruction from Brinton Smith, Andrew Shulman, Anthony Kitai, Emileigh Vandiver, Ovidiu Marinescu, and many other respected performers. He has performed with the University of Macau Orchestra, Longview Symphony, Pasadena Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra of the Pines, West Chester University Symphony Orchestra, and many more. Carlos has been teaching cello private lessons, sectionals, and group classes for over 6 years with a wide range of age groups from 7-65 years old. He loves making music and looks forward to sharing his passion with others at Valotta Studios!
