Mr. James Weber is an enthusiastic musician with lots of love and passion for sharing a musical experience with his students and his colleagues. As a rising senior music education major at West Chester University on alto saxophone, James has been heavily involved with making and studying music since he acquired his first drum set in 2009. Since beginning his studies at the university, he has served as principal player for West Chester University’s Wind Symphony, Concert Band, and Statesmen Jazz Ensembles, providing him ample opportunities to study and perform with some of the best musicians in the area. In addition, James has held numerous leadership positions relating to music on campus, such as being the director of the Honors Students Association’s Jazz Combo and serving as a student coordinator for the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band. James enjoys the challenge of learning new instruments and takes pride in his ability to play and teach instruments beyond the saxophone, clarinet, and drums, including flute, piano, voice, guitar, bassoon, trumpet, and much more.
