JORDAN ROWAN – BRASS

Jordan Rowan is currently a student at West Chester University and is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Trombone Performance with Dr. Daniel Cherry. Jordan has been playing brass instruments since he was in fourth grade. He has had many opportunities to play in top
ensembles such as West Chester University’s Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Opera, Statesmen Jazz Ensemble, Criterions Jazz Ensemble, Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, and the Honors trombone ensemble at the University of Delaware’s Trombone Day.

Jordan enjoys every brass instrument and loves exploring the small details and nuances of brass instruments. His approach to teaching involves a focus on proper technique and exploring new genres of music. Jordan also enjoys exploring new approaches to brass playing.
