Kendrick graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education where he studied percussion with Dr. Michael Kingan. Currently he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Performance at West Chester University where he studies percussion with Dr. Ralph Sorrentino and Mr. David Nelson. While studying at IUP, Kendrick was a member of the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, and The Steel Pan Ensemble. He has also performed in numerous master classes with principle percussionists from world famous orchestras. At West Chester University Kendrick is a member of the West Chester University Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the Steel Pan Ensemble.

Apart from Kendrick’s concert percussion experience, he has also performed in the marching percussion field with the Reading Buccaneers playing quads in the summer of 2015 and playing quads in several different WGI indoor percussion ensembles. In the summer of 2018 he was contracted with Windish Productions and performed at Hershey Park in Cocoa Rhythm, Hershey Park’s own drumline. Additionally, while focusing on his degrees, Kendrick has worked with several high school marching bands and indoor percussion programs including: Norwin High School, Gateway High School, Homer Center High School, and Upper Perkiomen High School.
