Kyleigh recently graduated from West Chester University with a dual degree in Music Education and Music Therapy. She is currently working to complete intern hours in Music Therapy so that she can become a Board Certified Music Therapist. While in college, Kyleigh had a vocal concentration. Due to this avenue of the music program, Kyleigh actively participated in choir, including women’s choir, recital choir, Cantari Donne (Vice President), Sigma Alpha Iota choir/ select choir, and three years in WCU’s top ensemble – Concert Choir. Kyleigh was also very involved on campus. She served as both the President and Service chair of Sigma Alpha Iota – Professional Music Fraternity, a School of Music Ambassador and Mentor, and the Secretary/treasurer for University Opera theatre for two years. Not only was Kyleigh a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota but she was also a sister of the Abbe Society on campus that was a service organization for the surrounding West Chester Community. In addition to campus involvement, Kyleigh served as a student director for Sykes Student Union, a Leadership consultant for music organizations and a community life associate at the Hickman Senior Living Community. Recently, she student taught at both the Westtown School and Northley Middle School and has music therapy practicum experience at Royer Greaves School for the Blind, Evergreen Care Center, and Holisticare Hospice. In her spare time, Kyleigh loves to participate in theatre and perform country/pop music locally. Having just graduated college, Kyleigh is so excited to extend her knowledge to Valotta Studios and make music with her students!
