LIA CRISCUOLO – VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, & PIANO

Lia Criscuolo is currently in her third year of studies at West Chester University, pursuing a double major in Music Education and Cello Performance. An active cellist, she is a member of the WCU Symphony Orchestra, WCU Chamber Orchestra, and WCU Cello Ensemble. She is currently under the tutelage of Dr. Ovidiu Marinescu, and has received training from Janifer Dixon, Peter Brye, and Jesus Morales in the past. In addition to the cello, as well as the violin and viola, Lia has been studying piano since 6th grade and is minoring in piano performance. A well-rounded musician, Lia learned the trumpet for the WCU Marching Band and enjoys playing ukulele with her friends. She loves to perform on her cello, whether it be for family and friends in a recital or in the pit orchestra for a musical. Lia finds great joy in teaching students not only how to refine their skills on their instruments, but to love making music and using it as an emotional outlet.
