Morgan Turner is a performer and teacher in the local Montgomery and Chester County area. She is currently obtaining her Music Education and Flute Performance degree from West Chester University. Along with studying music, she volunteers and works at many music camps for students throughout the year. Some programs that Morgan has been involved with include Vivace Productions, the West Chester Summer Music Institute, and various leadership camps through West Chester University. Morgan is a drum major with the West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band and is a member of the Wells School of Music Student Advisory Board, assisting the Dean with student related questions and ideas to improve the school music community. As a flautist, Morgan participated in PMEA in high school, placing in All States her junior and senior year. As an incoming college freshman, she received the V. Betty DeHaven scholarship for excellence on the flute. Morgan has been a two time Wells School of Music Scholarship Competition winner and has participated in the Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia Collegiate Young Artist competition. Morgan has received private piano lessons and is a saxophone player as well! Morgan hopes to inspire all of her students to find their passion through music.
