1. No Transportation Necessary
We all have those times where we are so busy it’s hard to keep track of it all. Throughout my years taking lessons at Valotta Studios, there have been so many times I needed a ride to and from the studio. With my sister’s dance practice and my brother’s soccer games, I always found it difficult to find a ride to my lessons. However, with the online sessions Valotta Studios now provides, I don’t have to go through the trouble of driving to and from the studio every week. With the new virtual lessons via Zoom, all you have to do is sit back and relax and let the Internet do the work for you!
2. COVID Free!
With this new and confusing pandemic racing around the world, it can sometimes be scary just to leave the house. For me and my family, we are hesitant to do normal daily tasks, such as grocery shopping. Not to worry- Valotta offers fully virtual lessons every day of the week for your convenience and schedule. Although virtual lessons aren’t exactly the same as in-person, I enjoy them because I am in the comfort of my own home.
3. No Masks
While Valotta Studios still offers in-person lessons, students and teachers are required to wear a mask while in lessons, except when playing a woodwind or brass instrument. Masks are important and essential to keep everyone healthy and safe, but they can be uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time. Instead of worrying about having your mask fall off your face or being sweaty during your lesson, you can sit mask-free in your house and have a spectacular lesson via Zoom!
4. Perform in the Comfort of Your House
Many music students like to practice and perform in their own space without the feeling that everyone is watching them. As a flute student, I always prefer to be in the comfort of my own house when I am playing. With students who are shy and often lack confidence, virtual lessons are a perfect way for them to relax and play the music they love.
I have loved the option of taking virtual lessons at Valotta Studios and I hope you all get a chance to try it too!
